US wankers are excited over Taliban leader’s capture

US politicians and apologist pundits are falling all over each other with big hard-ons over their capture of an important Taliban leader. The CIA and Pakistani puppet military officials captured Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
The US is the only blatant imperialist country left and the only occupying army in two different countries. The US imperialist are determined to prove they have learned from Vietnam, but the truth is they never did. They still believe they can win the “hearts and minds” of people under occupation. They have the largest and most sophisticated army in the world, so they expect enemies to tremble before them and for populations under their command to accept servitude.

According to McClatchy Newspaper:

“The capture of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, believed to be the key strategist of the Taiban's military campaign, also is likely to knock the Taliban off balance just as a massive U.S.-led offensive is pressing the insurgents on the battlefield in the southern province of Helmand.
it also may mark a strategic U-turn by Pakistan, which has been accused of secretly supporting the Taliban and hosting its leadership, despite officially breaking ties with the movement after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency helped the Taliban seize power in Afghanistan in the mid 1990s.”

They only look at the short run. In the long run, other Afghan groups may form to kick out the uninvited invaders. Since neither Brittan or the Soviet Union could conquer these people, the US government is fooling itself to believe they can? Besides the so called “drop in violence” in Iraq, the US still needs massive troops to enforce its will there. An undemocratic government can’t give people a democracy. Already the Iraqis are looking at what parties and individuals they will ban rather than allow an actual free election. The massage is always the same. “Vote for your favorite candidate as long as he/she serves US interests.”
The US has only scratched the surface of a deadly war it can’t win. It is also time for those of us in the US to protest this second Vietnam fiasco.
