Nepal—Two major Marxist parties unite—UCPN-Maoist & CPN-Unified

Kathmandu, Apr. 3rd 2010/

The two party unity completes today. Unified Communist Party Nepal-Maoist, एकीकृत नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टी (माओवादी) and the Communist Party Nepal-Unified, नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टी (एकिकृत, have declared the party unity organizing a big gathering in National Assembly House in the capital city Kathmandu. The unity was declared after the unity was done in party office.
On the occasion of declaration, former General Secretary of CPN-Unified and present standing committee member Navraj Subedi said that the unity will certainly inspire to fulfill the left responsibilities for the completion of the revolution. He said that the insurrection has its different forms and it is possible though there are many challenges before it.
Pointing out the necessity to be critical to the past history of the party, Subedi said that the achievements that are achieved from the People\'s War are common achievements for all the revolutionaries and the communists.
Party chairman Prachanda, emphasizing on the unity, said that the party unity has a deep and symbolic meaning. Before Marxism was originated it was right to exploit to the people. However, after the origination of Marxism, the world view changed and it has been changed into it is right to rebel in place of it is right to exploit.
Pointing out the continuous newness in the party, Prachanda said that the process of negation of negation makes the party new and new through the revolutionary processes. The devotion, dedication and the sacrifice of the thousands of warriors has laid a strong foundation for the unity among the revolutionaries.
