Out of Iraq, but out of Middle-east would be better

While the US has endorsed uprisings in countries whose leaders they are at odds with, they hypocritically ignore unrest in their important ally’s countries. Bahrain is one such country. Its ruler has brutally cracked down and killed protesters with the total approval of the Barack Obama regime. They also won’t support an uprising in Saudi Arabia and of course, they play down the US uprising, សតិវ អតុ

A lot of people are glad the US Military is leaving Iraq. The families of 3,000 soldiers of Iraq were glad to have their loved ones back from that mission, in Fort Riley and other bases in Kansas.  For those in the Kansas Peace and Social Justice Center, the focus now is and has been Afghanistan. And if that were not enough the US has gotten involved in a war in Libya and hints at a war in Syria.
The local Peace and Social Justice Center of South Central Kansas has issued a statement on the Afghanistan War;

“The WichitaPeace and Social Justice Center supports a full and immediate withdrawal of U.S. military presence from Afghanistan.  We believe strongly that democracy is a system of government that works best when responsibility for creating, benefiting from, and comprising citizen-voice is firmly in the hands of the citizens of that democracy.  In short we believe that no true democracy can emerge outside of America if aided by American military might.”
Since the Iraq war, the US has been involved in a military assault on the forces of Muammar Gaddafi, in Libya. Attention has also been turned to Syria where President Barak Obama called on Syria's President Bashar al-Assad to quit office. This may be a pretext to military intervention in that country. The US seems to be treating the Middle-east as its own Risk Gameboard. Obama goes from country to country, first asking them to quit, then applying and promoting sanctions. A coalition of NATO forces or UN troops are assembled and then some type of military action is used to finish off the leader. It’s like watching a person in Risk move dozens of plastic troops up against a country that has only a few to defend itself.
It’s nice to be out of Iraq. Now if the US will get out of the Middle-east, we will all be better off.
