New organization deals with contradictions of Peruvian society, after the people’s war by the Communist Party of Peru (Shining Path)

Known for its Spanish initials movadef, this group is made up of former members and supporters of the Communist Party of Peru (known for years as Shining Path) is trying to promote a legal political party that can allow Maoist to re-enter Peruvian politics without a people’s war. It is also drawing new and younger Maoist in Peru so this may be the best effort yet, to not  only keep Maoist politics alive in Peru, but this groups hopes to keep alive the honest memory of the PCP’s people’s war and the hope it brought to poor peasants.
The Peruvian government has denied this new organization any legal status and has prevented it from running members to political office. They still refer to this group as a pro-terrorist group and have denied that Peru ever had any problems of poverty and neglect that lead to the people’s war. -សតិវ អតុ

THIRTY THREE YEARS LATER
This 2013, 33 years of war initiation of Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, Gonzalo thought (as he called the PCP) all verify that unresolved problems that resulted from this, once completed in 1992.

We reaffirm the need to close this chapter of Peruvian history move towards allowing their later development and not be tied to the past. Our position is that this will be achieved if the state takes the political decision of General Amnesty viable one, and historically have been resolved many conflicts in the world.
In these days many reflections have been published in the media that we believe deserve attention.
For example, the editorial of the Republic of May 19, "Path for 33 years: open challenges ..." records from the title what we say above lines: an issue of national policy momentous unresolved. And, although we disagree with the conclusions of this article, it seems important to recognize that the author was "explanatory reason" for the "ILA": "The social conditions of exclusion and poverty of millions of Peruvians, ie the factor called 'breeding ground' "and that the war revealed" as insufficient national projects in the middle of the twentieth century proposed the modernization of society and the economy to achieve greater economic and social integration of the country. "

In the same paper, Salomón Lerner Febres, in his column "From the Classroom", entitled "Duties of memory" reflecting on the date, starting to criticize the "terrorism never again" is pushing Congress because present "truths "partial hide not pleasant aspects of what happened: for example, the unfortunate crime of government agents ..."

From our point of view, this program reflects once again! The political use of the song "terrorism", not for the development of Peruvian society, but to conceal ulterior motives where collude right and extreme right in a time deepening their contradictions.

We welcome that former Pres. In the CVR, today, rightly, setting out its view that "Peru needs an open and honest discussion about the issue." It also proposes to "give assurances that we will have a space dedicated to the memory just and inclusive". To be consistent, "inclusion" mean openness to the memory of all, from all parts of the war, not just the state but the people within it and of those who took up arms taking the revolutionary transformation of the society, far from the political persecution of the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, Gonzalo Thought, as they still do the groups and factions of power classes.

Finally, in the Post's May 17, sociologist Raul Gonzales, considering the 21 years since the arrest of Dr. Guzmán Reinoso and central leaders of the PCP, reflects on how "all political groups" (for us, the big bourgeoisie ) "ideologically have used this issue" (terrorism). Review us deserves respect, because from the opposite bank records the same fact: that "we should have turned the page."

We conclude that the reality is proving the need for a political as proposed 20 years ago, if we put forward the interest of the nation, the people and the whole Peruvian society.
