Firecracker brings terrorist down

A man tries to bring down a plane with just enough explosives to burn himself and the country goes bonkers. It’s a major security breach and in a world where this superpower uses unmanned drones to kill people in the Middle-east, we don’t any taste of our own medicine.
Now there will be longer lines, more inspections, more delays, over what amounts to a large firecracker. I can bring down a plane with a small amount of dynamite or a small amount of plastic explosive, but not an M-80 or a cherry bomb. Those last two just won’t tear a plane up enough to damage it or cause it to crash or land.
Once again the nation overreacts to a lone lunatic who has taken on “Allah’s” task of getting revenge on Americans. And if this is the best al Qaeda can do, then they might as well quit while they are behind.
