Reactions to the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla taking humanitarian aid to Gaza

Here is some reactions to the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla taking humanitarian aid to Gaza. This includes both local and national reactions:

Peace and Social Justice Center Of South Central Kansas:
June 1, 2010
In accordance with our mission statement, we join with the United Nations Security Council in condemning the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla taking humanitarian aid to Gaza that resulted in fatalities. While this attack took place in international waters, making it patently illegal, the attack on civilians by a military force would be egregious under any circumstances. We call for an impartial, independent investigation into this action. We also call on Israel to release the incarcerated activists, the aid and their ships and that the media be allowed access. Further, we call on Israel to lift the blockade and siege against Gaza so that people may move freely in and out of Gaza and the flow of humanitarian goods and services may take place unimpeded. We support peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians, including the Hamas leadership, and we encourage Pres. Barack Obama to take direct action to end hostilities in Gaza . We also call on Pres. Obama to suspend US aid to Israel until they break the siege and blockade of Gaza ."
