For the 34th year, members of the Wichita Peace Community will witness their hope and vision for a world without nuclear weapon and their hopes for a positive reduction in the production and exportation of deadly arms throughout the world.
Please come prepared to share your memories, reflections on the events surrounding Aug. 6 and Aug. 9, 1945. Also, once again we will be remembering the carpet bombings of European cities as well as the firebombing of Tokyo - the creations of modern warfare.
