Revenge for credit card assistance to government censorship?

We know that the capitalist system is not really made up of independent entities. Virtually all the credit card companies have helped out our imperialist government by cutting off any attempt to donate to Wikeleaks. This is after the site has published documents that prove the US is deceiving the American people into accepting a foreign policy based on militarism, scapegoating and attempts to monopolize the world’s resources.

We can be grateful that some people are fighting back. According to Reuters;

Supporters of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange quickly built a cyber army that shut down the websites of the world's two biggest credit card companies using simple tools posted on the Internet.

MasterCard Inc's (MA.N) website was down for much of Wednesday as a group calling itself AnonOps organized a "denial of service" attack on the credit card giant, which had stopped processing donations for WikiLeaks after the United States criticized its release of sensitive diplomatic cables.

Visa Inc's (V.N) site was temporarily unavailable late on Monday in the United States and the same group claimed responsibility for bringing it down.

……the MasterCard and Visa attacks seem to have come from a grass-roots effort organized by AnonOps.

We can be thankful that these people are retaliating for helping the government censor Wikileaks. We are supposed to have freedom of speech and yet we have had politicians calling for the death penalty and criminal charges for telling the people of the World the truth about the US government.

We should all look for ways to retaliate against the credit card companies, such as refusing to use their cards for purchases.
