From Wichita Peace and Freedom Party Examiner;
This is not the only time Wichita has experienced triple digit heat for days at a time. I can remember living here in the 1980s when it was only a few days each summer when it got much past 100˚. I can remember a week when it got up to 107˚.
That was the hottest part of the year. We have had some really hot years, but getting to 111˚ and staying over 100 for weeks at a time is not very usual. We got this weather in spring for the first time in 10 years, and my spring garden shriveled and died.
According to The Wichita Eagle it is not supposed to drop below 100 for the next week.
I realize that one year of hot weather does not prove global warming. We have had some mild summers in the past 10 years. But it does look like summers as a whole are getting hotter here in Kansas. The overall trend may be that things will stay that way. The drought and high temperatures have destroyed a lot of spring crops for farmers.
If they keep losing crops like this due to bad weather they may have to actually admit that global warming is real.

This is happening i every part of the world, not just there but well human race have to pay for what they have done.
Interesting perspective. One particularly difficult aspect of global warming worth noting is that mosquitos (yeah, those that carry dangerous viruses like West Nile) both breed more readily and more readily pick up dangerous viruses in hotter weather. Thanks for this interesting and informative blog.
