Pakistan-IAPSCC expresses solidarity with US Occupy Wall Street

It is great to see the people in Pakistan supporting
Occupation Wall Street
. As noted earlier, that country has been the continues attacks of US missiles on it’s territory as the US keeps up it’s so called “War on terrorism.” The US dosen’t care who they hurt in order to get them what they want.
At the same time the police arrested 200 more at Occupy Los Angeles- From the Orange County Register-Police officers in riot helmets Wednesday morning arrested more than 200 protesters and, in a mostly peaceful operation, dismantled the tent city that sprang up Oct. 1 outside City Hall as a western outpost of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Manik Mukherjee, General Secretary of International Anti-imperialist and People's
Solidarity Coordinating Committee (IAPSCC has released the following statement

IAPSCC
Condemns Police Brutality on the Protesters in 'Occupy Wall Street' Movement

Ordered by the Mayor of New York the Officers of the New York Police Department
swooped down upon the protesters at the Zuccotti Park in the dead of night and
evicted every single one of the peaceful- protesters using brutal force and
tear gas, pepper spray and a sound cannon. Bulldozers were used to tear down
the tents and clear all their belongings. This action follows an even more
violent action on Occupy Oakland protesters in California. IAPSCC condemns the
brutal police action on peaceful protesters, which is a fascist assault on the
democratic rights of the citizens. The Occupy Wall Street movement has spread
like wild fire all around the globe expressing people's anger with corporate
greed and economic inequality, spawned and nurtured by the capitalist system.
The police action once more demonstrates how the government and the
administration work for the capitalists nd protect them from the people's
wrath. The rulers are afraid of the snowballing effect of the movement and want
to crush it before it draws in its fold even larger sections of the people,
spelling danger to the existing system. History has demonstrated countless
times that repressive measures cannot suppress the people's desire for
emancipation. This brutal eviction also will only steel the people's resolve to
continue the movement and carry it to a higher stage. IAPSCC expresses its
solidarity with people's struggles against capitalist exploitation and
oppression.

PAKISTAN -will boycott a key international conference on Afghanistan next month, widening its protest over lethal cross-border NATO strikes and exacerbating a deep crisis in US ties.
