The US is at war with its people and the whole world is watching

Today’s events in Oakland California show the extent of brutality the police will go to in an attempt to scare the Occupy movement off. They should know better. This country is on the verge of war with its own citizens. The article below and the videos are letting the world know that this is going on. “Freedom and democracy” in the US are hollow empty meaningless words. Hundreds of police clad in riot gear and wielding a variety of weapons attacked a procession of protesters in Oakland, California, on Saturday. It was the largest altercation between police and protesters in Oakland since the October 25 confrontation that left several wounded, including Iraq War veteran Scott Olsen.
