Wichita KS May Day-Celebration of Woody Guthrie’s centennial birth

This will be a musical tribute to Woody Guthrie. Music and commentary will be by Tom James, Aaron Fowler and Laura Dungan. Guthrie is one of America’s finest folk singer who grew out of the labor struggle for the eight hour day and many other leftist causes. He was an early communist in the 1930 and 1940s.
This event will be;
May 1      5-7 pm  1407 N. Topeka

 We will share a potluck style meal,
please bring something to contribute, as you are able!
* This celebration is co-sponsored by Wichita Democratic Socialists, the Peace and Social Justice Center, and Sunflower Community Action.
