The United Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) is now not united anymore. The party has spited into two factions. One faction is lead by its Chairman Pranchand who does not want to leave the chair despite the failure of his "strategic line" which is nothing but a plot to facilitate the institutionalise corruption and loot in the party. The other faction is lead by Com Kiran.
In its national gathering underway since Saturday, the new group has proposed the name of the new party as Nepal Communist Party - Maoist Revolutionary and the gathering is discussing it programme agenda of the party which will be adopted at the end of this three day gathering.
The old faction has now transformed itself into one of the most corrupt political organisations which have a history of betrayal of people.
