Officials: Israel launches airstrike into Syria

So now it is official—a major US proxy and minor imperialist power on its own, Israel has now helped the Free Syrian Army to expand its war to other parts of the Middle-east. When Israel attacks, it’s really not much different that if the US attacks. The only real difference is that Israel is actually more impulsive and less restrained than the Barack Obama administration. Israel is a lot more dangerous and this war is now a lot more expanded.
The civil war in Syria continues to spiral out of control. Al- Qaeda is now openly involved in this war fighting along pro-US rebels, the Free Syrian Army. Hezbollah has been attacked by the FSA and now Israel feels free to jump right in and expand this war.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Israel launched an airstrike into Syria, apparently targeting a suspected weapons site, U.S. officials said Friday night.
The strike occurred overnight Thursday into Friday, the officials told The Associated Press. It did not appear that a chemical weapons site was targeted, they said, and one official said the strike appeared to have hit a warehouse.
The U.S. officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
Israel has targeted weapons in the past that it believes are being delivered to the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah. Earlier this week, Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah/حسن نصر الله said his group would assist Syrian President Bashar Assad/بشار حافظ الأسد if needed in the effort to put down a 2-year-old uprising.

Just last month, the BBC News reported on anti-Assad ties to al-Qaeda;
The leader of the al-Nusra Front, a jihadist group fighting in Syria, has pledged allegiance to the leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri/أيمن محمد ربيع الظواهري.
Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani said the group's behaviour in Syria would not change as a result.
Al-Nusra claims to be have carried out many suicide bombings and guerrilla attacks against state targets.
On Tuesday, al-Qaeda in Iraq announced a merger with al-Nusra, but Mr Jawlani said he had not been consulted on this.
