Futuro:
On 1 June this year, the main leader of the Communist Party
of the Philippines and hence the New People's Army (NPA), Comrade Adelberto
Silva, has been arrested as a result of a joint operation by the police and
army in Bacor the town, Cavite. Fascist security forces, as our readers will
recall, a year ago (March 2014) have imprisoned comrades Benito Tiamzon and his
wife Wilma Tiamzon, President and Secretary General of the PCF, respectively.
The reactionary country authorities intend to send before a court of justice to
Comrade Adelberto Silva, this allegedly being involved in the death of fifteen
police officers, whose remains have been found in a mass grave in the central island of Leyte
