It is surprising that one place where a Maoist can get arrested is
the homeland of Mao himself, China. Yes that is right. The birthplace of Maoism
is one of the worst places to be a Maoist. Just as with Maoist all over the
world, China is a dangerous place for Maoism. Even though Mao is the founder of
China and his image is on everything from money to public pictures and statues,
his actual philosophy is not so tolerated in that country. The Mao in public
places and on money is like "George Washington" Mao. He is the guy
that chopped down a chery tree and fessed up to it when his dad asked him if he
did it. But that is a harmless Mao who has no opinions of socialist
development. People are supposed to admire his pictures and not actually read
his philosophy. It is good to know that real Maoism is actually being kept alive
in China by real Maoists.
