will miss Samir Amin. I have one of his books "The Liberal Virus: Permanent War and the
Americanization of the World." But more important both he and I had
articles in Contemporary Marxism, issue 12-13, back in the 1980s. We both wrote
on the subject of the Kampuchean Revolution. His article was called "The Struggle
for National Independence and Socialism in Kampuchea." Mine was called
"Kampuchea Today: A Response to Hoang Tung." I've always enjoyed his
writings.
