This year marks the 46th anniversary of the assassination of the representative of the international proletariat in Turkey, founder of the TKP / ML (Communist Party of Turkey / Marxist-Leninist) Ibrahim Kaypakkaya. Comrade Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was only 24 years old when he was killed under the severe torture inflicted by the Turkish fascist state on May 18. Kaypakkaya founded the TKP / ML at the age of 23 years.

Ibrahim Kaypakkaya has managed to become the permanent leader of the communist idea and the just revolutionary line in Turkey.

He is one of the best disciples of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. He evaluated his own ideas and the TKP / ML, which he founded, as a product of the great proletarian cultural revolution. At a time when Marxist-Leninist ideas were globally active, when the struggles for revolution and socialism developed in the 1960s and 1970s, the class struggle in Turkey was progressing in an incredible way. Especially in the conditions of the 1968 Movement, which covers the entire world, anti-fascist and anti-imperialist revolutionary waves have been formed among the students. This movement reached its 50th anniversary last year. On this occasion, we salute this movement that has shaken the world of imperialism and the powers turning it into a place of fear.

This movement was influenced by Marxism-Leninism and adapted to the revolutionary wave that developed in the world with the idea of ​​revolution and the affirmation of the need for revolution. This period was at the same time a process in which the socialist camp divided the revisionists and the Marxist-Leninists. On the one hand, the Vietnamese resistance, the Student Movement of 1968 and several national struggles for social liberation, opposed to imperialism and the reactionary system of government at an accelerated pace, and on the other hand, the struggle. led by Mao Zedong in which the communists fought against Soviet revisionism and the capitalist restorers that existed in China. In particular, the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, which emerged in China against the bourgeoisie, It gave the development of this great revolutionary wave enormous enthusiasm, power and courage. While, on the one hand, revolutionary processes and needs were being pursued and discussed, on the other, in the course of the debates on the problems of socialism, a profound and astonishing ideological struggle was developing.

Kaypakkaya was deeply involved in the international proletariat with the class struggle in socialism, his position on social-imperialism, his persistence in the people's war, his ties to the class struggle and his strong reference to President Mao Zedong. In this context, he took as a reference the courageous step of the Naxalite movement in India. He drew a sharp dividing line between himself and the line of adventurism and focalism around the world. By systematizing the communist line of demarcation, which is based on the creativity of the popular masses, I mean a rupture and form that line with the internationalist conscience.

It is there, in the middle of this process, where Kaypakkaya took his ideological, political and theoretical form. It was nourished by the progressive and rich experiences of the class struggle. But that is not all. He was also influenced by the audacity, fearlessness and richness of theoretical and intellectual thought, which would destroy all taboos, which provoked the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. This showed that he had strong theoretical discussions with revisionist currents, that he had arrived at clear results on the question of political power, that he had adequately analyzed the problems of society in Turkey, which had clearly positioned itself in socio-political and historical issues. more fundamental, and that he had drawn the right path and the right line for the revolution.

Kaypakkaya has shown the historical character of the current political regime of the Turkish ruling class with clarity never before seen. It shook revisionism from the theoretical and political point of view of class collaboration by defining Kemalism as a fascist current. With regard to the issue of the Kurdish nation, he explains with a clear Leninist point of view with which he draws a clear line of demarcation between him and all the self-proclaimed progressive Marxist-Leninists, revolutionaries, who essentially advance in social-chauvinist positions. He explained the quality of the revolution as a democratic popular revolution and tried to adopt the strategic line of the people's war in the country, with its theoretical and practical bases. He brandished the communist flag against the insensitivity and long-standing humiliation of the proletariat and the popular masses, repressed by revisionism and opportunism. He brought the solution to the historical and social problems, presented as already resolved by revisionism, but which remained trapped in reality, thanks to a complete and determined position in the MLM (Marxism-Leninism-Maoism). He also led the ideological struggle against the petty-bourgeois revolutionary centrist movement, which developed under the conditions in which he lived. Once again, he perfected and extended his communist line through the struggle he waged against the new revisionist views, against peaceful reformism and liquidation.

He achieved ideological clarity, political affirmation and theoretical understanding from an early age. His method was the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist. Its affirmation and its ideological clarity are the result of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. His understanding and perception grew in the class struggle. It is a continuous and uninterrupted part of the struggle of the workers' movement, the occupation of the land by the peasants and the struggle of the young students.

His communist and revolutionary attitude led to his murder when it fell into the hands of the Turkish ruling classes. He still exists as a communist leader because of his legacy in the TKP / ML and his programmatic views, which serve as a guide for this party. He remains the main representative of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism in Turkey.

On the occasion of the 46th anniversary of his death, his powerful legacy, his theoretical wealth and his political affirmation have helped to perpetuate a tradition that has not deviated from his line and does not accept commitments, going against the counterrevolutionary wave that has prevailed throughout the world. world. He left behind an inheritance and a struggle that are related to uninterrupted communism for 47 years.

For the 70th anniversary of his birth and on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of his death, we commemorate the leader Ibrahim Kaypakkaya with the oath of devotion to communism, devotion to the revolution and devotion to the ideology of the proletariat. And we will continue to commemorate it. He was a good disciple and follower of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and President Mao.
