Declaration of the Maoist Revolutionary Party

This is the first time I have heard of this group. I welcome any information on any Maoist group here in the US. This country has had a hard time developing a serious Maoist movement. Efforts are being made and I try to support them. I think the efforts I am aware of may need to work out some of the so called “kinks” in such movements. I realize that opposing revisionism is important to the Maoist world outlook, but taking on Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) may not be such a great idea at this time. I do like some of what I have read here, especially:

“The New Afrikan Black Panther Party represents the most advanced expression of black proletarian class consciousness and revolutionary political practice, and has emerged as leadership of a United Front of all the exploited classes, both inside the prison system and across oppressed communities.”

I really like the idea of a united front. Therefore I see a lot of potential in a group as this one.

We, the undersigned, hereby declare the intent to constitute the ‘Maoist Revolutionary Party’ in North Amerika.

Further, we are constituting under the ideological guidance and revolutionary leadership of the New Afrikan Black Panther Party.

There are a number of oppressed communities within the borders of the United States. From the period of enslavement to the modern-day era of mass incarceration, the geographically dispersed, highly concentrated, and deeply segregated black communities experience the greatest class contradictions with imperialism, and have historically formed the primary source of labor for the wealth of this empire. They have always existed in constant antagonism with the settler-colonial project, and therefore have always been the first to struggle.

The principally exploited and oppressed classes of black communities are the proletariat, semi-proletariat, lumpen-proletariat, and lower petite-bourgeoisie. Among them, the proletariat constitutes the leading revolutionary force within the United States. These four basic classes share a principal contradiction with imperialism, and therefore have a concrete material basis for revolutionary struggle. The New Afrikan Black Panther Party represents the most advanced expression of black proletarian class consciousness and revolutionary political practice, and has emerged as leadership of a United Front of all the exploited classes, both inside the prison system and across oppressed communities.

Therefore, it is imperative that our Party is guided by the leadership of the New Afrikan Black Panther Party. We pledge to follow their directives, study their revolutionary line, give them material support when they request it, and learn from their example. We will work closely with them to develop more advanced unity in the future. We support their efforts to transform the prison system into trenches of revolutionary struggle and schools of revolutionary thought; and their efforts to turn Newark, New Jersey into a revolutionary base area.

Additionally, every white member of the Maoist Revolutionary Party will join the Marilyn Buck Brigade and carry out the directives and tasks set forth by the New Afrikan Black Panther Party, in order to expand the revolution into white proletarian communities. White proletarians in the United States are dispersed and led politically by the white petite-bourgeoisie and labor aristocracy. It is therefore the duty of revolutionary white proletarians to break this unity with imperialism in their own communities and build support for the liberation struggles of all oppressed communities against imperialism.

Finally, we support wholeheartedly and learn from the shining example of the Communist Party of the Philippines and the Communist Party of India (Maoist)! Our international support goes to them, and also to the Maoist Parties being constituted or reconstituted across the world, including in Peru, Nepal, Turkey, and many others. We wish to help build a new Maoist International to struggle, unite with, and assist revolutionary struggles everywhere.

Our hearts are swelled with optimism at this declaration. Revolution is urgently needed, and only through sacrifice, discipline, unity, and struggle can we hope to free the people and establish a new society founded on the principle of “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.”

We shall advance steadfastly along the road to socialism! The new society shall arise from the ashes of the old, and no longer will the people suffer needlessly at the hands of the exploiters!
