Maoists seek to form gov't in Nepal

Seems to indicate that the Maoist are finally getting back some of the clout they lost when they pulled out of the country’s new government:

KATHMANDU, Nepal, July 1 (UPI) -- Maoists in the Himalayan republic of Nepal made a pitch Thursday to return to power -- a day after the resignation of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal,
The Maoists, led by former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, sought to form the next national unity government by talking with other political parties.
A Maoist spokesman said his group believes it should lead the next government because it is the largest party in the Constituent Assembly, Nepalnews.com reported.
