The latest article from Network
for Communist Blogs is Five
communist works in audio. While they are all good works, I’m especially
interested in Tale of the Little Black
Fish of Samad Behrangi , a story written by an Iranian communist
professor to show children the need for revolution and to have a critical
thinking about the laws established in society.
Years ago I stated a need for children’s books that can
introduce them to communist literature and thinking. I made that suggestion to
the folks at The Guardian
before it went out of business. That newspaper had a yearly collection of
Marxist books that were offered to their readers.
Christian churches and organizations all put out books for
their children, designed to introduce them to the Bible and basic Christian
ideas. I’m sure other religions do that also. We need books for our children
that can help Marxists to introduce them to basic ideas, the same way the Christians
and other religions do. So anytime I come across a book that is designed for
the use by children, I plan to expose it here, for the Marxists and Maoists
parents that take an interest in our work.
