Socialist and Marxist-Leninist organize in Kansasa

COMRADES: THIS IS AN EXERCISE IN AN IDEA THAT I HAVE HAD FOR A WHILE. I WANT TO TRY THIS USING FB BECAUSE TRUTHFULLY THE MOST PEOPLE USE THIS AS THEIR SOCIAL AND POLITICAL FORUM, AND SO MANY OF US  ARE ALL HERE EVERYDAY.
THE BASIS OF MY IDEA ( MOST OF MY IDEAS) IS GROWTH OF REVOLUTIONARY POTENTIAL AND FERVOR AMONGST THE PEOPLE. WORKING BACKWARDS FROM THAT CURRENT END, I KNOW THAT WE NEED TO EARN THE TRUST AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PUBLIC. WE CAN ONLY DO THIS IF WE HAVE SOLIDARITY AND CREATE A UNIFIED FRONT AGAINST OUR CAPITALIST/ FASCIST OPPRESSORS. WE CAN DO THIS  THROUGH EDUCATION AND ACTION.
EDUCATION : BECAUSE THE PUBLIC HAS TO KNOW WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE BELIEVE IN , AND WHAT THAT MEANS FOR ALL OF US.
ACTION: BECAUSE IT'S NOT RELIGION.... WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR LIVELYHOOD THE PEOPLE DON'T TEND TO BELIEVE WHAT THE SEE AND FEEL AND THEY SURE AS HELL  WANT OR NEED A BUNCH OF EMPTY PROMISES AND MORE BULLSHIT LEGISLATION THEY NEED REAL RESULTS!

SO ANYWAYS... ( shocking another long winded socialist = ) ....

I RECOGNIZE OUR NEED TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS OF THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND FULLY , AND TO DISPELL THE MYTHS THAT; THOSE WHO "THINK THEY KNOW" , and THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO SEE US SUCCEED,  ARE PUTTING OUT TO THE PUBLIC.
I OFTEN TIMES FIND MYSELF DEBATING THESE PEOPLE ON COMMENT STREAMS, WHICH SEEMS KIND OF SMALL TIME AND INCONSEQUENTIAL AND AS A WHOLE IT MAY BE. OR IT COULD ATTRACTING NEW BELIEVERS, I HAVE CERTAINLY FOUND SOME NEW " FRIENDS"  FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD THIS WAY.
SOME OF THE ARGUMENTS OR EXPLANATIONS THAT i MAKE ARE SO WELL THOUGHT OUT THAT I THINK I SHOULD REMEMBER THEM AND SHARE THEM WITH MY COMRADES SO THAT WE CAN USE OUR COLLECTIVE INTELLECT TO FINE TUNE OUR PLATFORM, AND HONE OUR ABILITIES TO ARGUE FOR SOCIALISM.

WHENEVER YOU HAVE A GOOD ARGUMENT FOR OUR CAUSE , AND AGAINST ANY OF THE MANY EVILS , SOCIETAL ILLS WE FACE.... COPY AND PASTE IT TO YOUR NOTES AND TAG YOUR COMRADES.

I don't really feel like doing the political debate thing right now, but i feel that as a card carrying Socialist it is my duty to set some things straight.

Socialism, is The economic and political theory which promotes the public or collective ownership of the means of production, and resources. We believe in eliminating the profit margin from industry. We believe in the right of the worker to directly benefit from the fruits of their labor, and we believe in a modern democratic approach to this. YES we do believe in ensuring that the basic needs for survival are met, but this principle does not insinuate that human beings would automatically become lazy as soon as their basic needs are met.

@ Guy who said Obama's a Socialist - A question: DO YOU stop working just because your basic needs are met or do you continue to try to provide the standard of living that you like or wish to achieve? BY basic needs we mean public safety , education ( extending into higher education and trade school, and apprenticeships, child care, non profit housing ( that means financed or rented at any level of expense) expanding free and public transit, ensuring workers rights, Health care.... A whole plethora of basic needs and rights that one should have ensured to them at birth. And yes, even cable, but good cable with more channels, for everyone. We CAN do this by not meddling in the affairs of every foreign entity that has a resource we want or need. By "meddling" I mean spending trillions of YOUR tax dollars to maim and kill other human beings in the name or religion or business or what have you. We can also do this, by refusing to use public resources to subsidize the banks , major industry, and insurance companies. And by NOT jailing massive amounts of the viable population for petty crimes that don't harm anyone, or something that shouldn't even be considered a crime. WE do NOT support what we call Welfare State Capitalism , or what we have as the status quo today. By Welfare state I mean significant tax breaks and holidays to everyone BUT the working class, and the propensity of the current powers that be to accept if not compel the creation of a permanent underclass through the use of division and marginalization tactics. Like the HIGHLY subsidized media that has us all scared to death of one another and our government. All the while having us convinced that we should be able to find the answers to our sociopolitical problems in some patsy from one of the two major political parties. So much more to say on the subject.... but I'll leave it with these three things:

1. Obama is not a Socialist ( has been my public mantra since 2007) if he was he would have directly dismantled the capitalist strangle hold on the government and the people, he would have released non-violent offenders from jails and prisons, nationalized the hospitals, created massive public works projects to improve every aspect of our lives and ended the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

2. 3. If you have no formal information on what Socialism is.... please don't expound upon it as if you do.

I know it's a fairly radical thought, But @GUy.... judging from your ability to thrive in this economy and what seems like you persistence in hard work, you might find yourself agreeing ( at least a little) with us.
