Grace Slick—rock pioneer

Grace Slick was really the first woman who sang in an actual rock and roll band. Today there are many such women, but she was really one of the first. She was a part of the youth scene of the late 1960s. Some say this is actually an antiwar song in which the person in this song has lost someone in the war and has tears “running down her dress.” Today Slick is retired from rock and spends her time painting. -សតិវ អតុ
