SALUTE THE OUTSTANDING PRACTICE OF MASS LINE WORK OF THE NEW PEOPLES ARMY OF PHILLIPINES WHICH ATTAINED ITS BIRTH EXACTLY 50 YEARS AGO.FROM AN EMBRYO IT GREW INTO SUCH LARGE BODY INFILTRATING THE MOST HAZARDOUS OF AREAS.FROM A MERE SPARK IT HAS TURNED INTO A BONFIRE ILLUMINATING THE SPARK OF LIBERATION AND SHIMMERING THE RED FLAG.IT HAS EMULATED MASSLINE OF CCP DIP EVERY OUNCE OF OUR BLOOD TO ILLUMINATE THE GLORIOUS SACRIFICES OF THE NEW PEOPLES ARMY FOUNDED EXACTLY 50 YEARS AGO .RESSURECTED THE INEXTINGUISHABLE TORCH OF MAOISM AND PPW DISPLAYING MASTERY OVER IDEOLOGY OF MARXISM-LENINISM -MAOISM TAKING PHILIPPINES TO THE VERGE OF REVOLUTION.LED BY CHAIRMAN MAO MORE THAN ANY PARTY AFTER 1949 IN PRACTICE OF PROTRACTED PEOPLES WAR.BOLD SELF CRITICISM THROUGH RECTIFICATION CAMPAIGNS PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE.

Today is a landmark day in the history of people’s liberation struggle when the New Peoples Army in Philippines was born. It was a crusader in the practice of the mass line consistently combating deviations of the right and left along 2 rectification periods. Above all it was never guilty of complacency or overestimated it's strength. It continuously guarded against unbalanced development and strived to develop the weaker NPA units with assistance from the very strong ones. It also never was divorced from the leadership of the vanguard party and never mixed the role of the red army and the party. It applied mass line more than any red army after the Chinese revolution in 1949.With great consistency it combated any tendency to just concentrate in one area. It mastered the science and art of developing a mass base without destroying the secret party structure and with great innovation and flexibility reached all the rural sections. Meticulous energy deployed in educating red army cadres. The party commanded the gun and not the gun commanding the party. The NPA based itself in the heart of the lives of the people doing mass work in fields of education, land reform health, disaster relief etc.Through the sphere of practice it defeated the left opportunist or 'putchist' line between 1978-9 as well as the right opportunist line of 'popular democracy. Above all proved the invincibility of Chairman Mao's theory of protracted peoples war and how it is not be mechanically applied. Blended defense and aggression in virtually perfect proportion to reach the stage it has.
