The International committee to Support the People’s War in India has new blog

There is a new blog for the International committee to Support the People’s War in India. This blog can be found at:
I will add this to my links. This is the best way to keep up on events in India, especially actions and statements taken by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and their allies. It also reports on what the International Committee to Support the People’s war is doing.
Below is an example of an article about the Maoist Communist Party Manipur, an ally of the CPI (Maoist), which is a small break away country that has been under control of the Indian Government.

Maoist Communist Party, Manipur greets womenfolk on the eve of Nupi Lan memorial day

IMPHAL, December 10: With the approach of 2nd “Nupi Lan Ningshing Numit”- a day to observe the sacrifices and hardships the womenfolk of this state had to endure in their fight for independence, the Central Committee of Maoist Communist Party, Manipur expressed their deepest regard and respect for those womenfolk who have borne the brunt of the struggle for independence in one way or the other in a press release issued by the proscribed group today.
The statement also views the police and advocates as the greatest beneficiaries in the present conflict, with the arrested insurgents bribing the police and advocates to spare their lives and make things easier, and reiterates the stand of the party which states that its cadres are prepared to face the worst consequences but will not beg or plead for mercy, nor will they bribe any advocates to be lenient with their cadres, but will applaud those cadres of the party who has been bearing the sufferings and pains with dignity and would only grow higher in their esteem if they could break down the prisons that are holding them back.
Adding that the women cadres of the party who are languishing in prison should be strong and carry forward the belief of their actions, and that the party is with them in their difficulties, and also wishes Irom Chanu Sharmila to defeat the suppressive forces and come out victorious in her struggle. The release further expressed its belief that the Meira Paibis of the state will march forward to reclaim the lost territories that was thrown away by the Indian Government and that they will proactively involve themselves in issues being faced by the society without discrimination and considerations of caste, language, religion or region, calling for support from one and all to bring success to the struggles the party is spearheading for the people of this state.
