From Wichita Peace and Freedom Party Examiner;
It was back in February that 800 people, including members of KanVote, went to Topeka for a protest and rally. But more than that, KanVote wanted to file a Kansas Open Records Request (KORA) to obtain Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s schedules, calendars, timesheets, and other items to show how this public servant spends his time.

This press conference was attended byWichita TV KSN.
In one example, KanVote pointed out was on October 4th, 2011, Kobach’s calendar states that he was to be at home with his wife prior to the induced delivery of their child. He was actually in New Orleans, testifying on behalf of the anti-immigrant ordinance he wrote for Farmers Branch, Texas.
KanVote claims that more than six weeks of time are missing from the calendar. It seems he skipped about a month and a half of work. His job is to work as secretary of state and that seems a very low priority for him. The job takes a lot of time and the tax-payers are paying not only for the time he is not putting into his job, but for his anti-immigrant, anti-voting laws that he promotes nation-wide, such as in Texas. He is paid $86,003 a year. So who does this man work for, Kansas or the nation-wide anti-immigrant activists? Kansans are paying for this either way.
